We had a beautiful litter from Tilly and Haayden.
This was the second most difficult litter I have ever had. Amazingly Tilly had NINE puppies. We knew she was
carrying a huge litter from an xray, so we arranged for a scheduled c section. She went in to surgery with
many hands there to help. We had myself, my daughter, my mom and 2 vet tech plus the doc. And we
needed every one! Against all odds, they were all born alive and surprisingly healthy. Unfortunately a few
hours later we noticed that their was a problem with a leg on one of the girls. It appeared to be dying and
looked like it had gotten the blood supply cut off in the womb. After a few days, her leg completely died off.
We ended up pulling her from mom and completely bottle feeding her. Despite every effort, we lost her to
pneumonia at about 4 weeks old. The remaining eight were being supplemented several times a day just to
help support mom since their were so many of them for her to feed. She was an AMAZING mom and took
care of every one with patience. The remaining eight grew up happy and healthy and are doing well. All I have
to say is WOW-NINE puppies out of a mom that was only 11 pounds before she got pregnant. Dont want to
do that again! We are very careful in our breeding program and have given Ms. Tilly a little break after that
ordeal. We have skipped several heat cycles and will carefully plan the next breeding just in case!

Due to a very unfortunate accident, Gobo has
gone to heaven. He was sincerely loved by his
family and was cared for with the greatest of
love. My heart goes out to his family, please
know that he will be looking over you always.
